On the occasion of World Women’s Day, a special additional discount of 15% for women participants only.

Regular Registration Fee for the Global Symposium is US$ 200 (Singapore SGD $275) per entry. However, for the interested group of students a special scholarship is created. That works out to about 50% savings if they register as a group of 25 together.

• SGD $140 per student for group registration of 25 or more

• SGD $150 per student for group registration of 15 to 24 students.

• SGD $160 per student for group registration of 5 to 14 students.

• SGD $175 per student for individual registration (non-members).

• SGD $150 per student for Members of IEEE & Supporting organisations.

The registration fee includes admission to Global Symposium on 10th and 11th May 2023 from 9AM to 5.30PM Only. It also includes tea/coffee breaks, working lunch, Certificate of participation, and a provision to download digital photos & related material from the website.

On 12th May 2023 for site/Institutional visit. Please note that the registration fee does not include local and international travel, accommodation, and related expenses. As such the participants have freedom to make their own arrangement for international travel, visa, accommodation, travel insurance etc. However, we have an experienced team which can assist in finding accommodation, local transportation, and providing a letter for supporting application for Visa for Singapore.

MENTORE & ADVISER

Dr. Anthony Yee is the Executive Director of AHT Syngas Asia PLC, this company is the Asian Headquarters of AHT GmbH, a 150-year-old Germany company, specializing in medium size gas power stations. He is also an academic, currently lecturing at Teeside University, Singapore Campus. Prior adjunct teaching and FYP supervision was at Ngee Ann and Singapore Polytechnic. Dr. Anthony Yee Started his career with Keppel Shipyard preforming both onboard marine electrical systems installation and repairs, as well as maintaining onshore HV electrical systems. Next appointment was Senior Electrical Engineer at MacDermott SEA Pte. Ltd, where he was in charge of offshore HV Generation and Distribution Systems. He later joined ABB as Project Division Manager, where he over saw HV projects and equipment installation and repairs. Dr. Yee has served as Expert Witness in several Singapore High Court Cases. Dr. Yee is a Life Senior Member of the IEE, he served for 8+ years in the PES Committee and later was Chair of Membership at Singapore Section. His area of specialization is Power Systems and Electromagnetics. Other affiliations are: Fellow Institute of Marine Engineering Science and Technology UK (FIMarEST), Fellow Institution of Engineering and Technology, formerly IEE UK (FIET), Fellow Institution of Science and Technology UK (FIScT), Fellow of The Royal Commonwealth Society UK. Dr. Yee served The Singapore Armed Forces as a Reservist Officer for 33 years. He commanded a reservist Combat Battalion and retired with the rank of Major. He is recipient of The SAF Good Conduct Medal and The Reserve Medal with Bar.

MAIN RESOURCE PERSONS:

Dr. Deepak L. Waikar, Founder and Managing Partner of EduEnergy Singapore, has been involved in education, training, research, and management fields for more than three decades. He started his professional career as an Assistant Director at the National Power Engineers Training Institute in India after his post-graduation from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University in India. He has been associated with the premier institutions, polytechnics, colleges, and academies in India and Singapore as well as with British and Australian Universities offering courses in Singapore. He has authored/co-authored books, book chapters, research articles, and policy papers on power, energy, management, sustainable development, leadership, and education-related topics. He has served on various committees in professional bodies such as Chair of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Power & Energy Society (PES) Chapter, Singapore, and Chair of the IEEE Education Society Chapter Singapore. He is a recipient of the IEEE-PES Outstanding Power Engineers’ Award 2003 and SP Green Buddy Award 2004. Dr. Waikar has been associated with Singapore Certified Energy Manager’s programme for more than a decade. He has also been an advisory committee member of the Indo-Universal Centre for Engineering Education (IUCEE). He has served as Editors and Reviewers for the conferences and journals. He has also been invited as an external examiner for assessing Master and Doctoral Thesis.

He has delivered hundreds of invited keynotes, plenary, panel session presentations on power, sustainable and clean energy, education, management, sustainable development, and leadership related topics at the international conferences, seminars and forums in North & South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. He has also been invited to give captivating & impactful inaugural, valedictory, and guest speeches for conferences, seminars, graduation ceremonies, and similar events of colleges, institutions, and universities.
He founded EduEnergy, Singapore in January 2014 for providing a range of advisory, training, coaching, mentoring, and consultancy services for colleges, institutes, organisations, and individuals. Dr. Waikar has conducted hundreds of students, faculty, and management development programmes on various topics such as Sustainable & Clean Energy, Designing & Managing Innovative Research and Development projects, Strategies for Infusing Blended Learning, Rethinking Teaching and Learning, Trainopreneurship, Problem/Project-based Learning, Design Thinking, and Transforming Higher Education. Since July 2020, he is continuing to offer such programmes through online mode.

He is a Senior Member of IEEE USA, a Life Member of the Institution of Engineers, India, and a Mentor for Teaching & Education Research Association (TERA) Fellowship Program with Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore, M.S. from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, M.Tech. from the Banaras Hindu University, India, and PD Certificate in University Teaching from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He obtained PG-DBM and B.E. degrees from the Nagpur University, and the Government Engineering College Aurangabad in India, respectively. His research interests include Sustainable Energy Development, Rethinking Teaching, Learning and Academic Leadership, Re-inventing and Transforming Tertiary Education, SMART Model for Talent and Leadership Development, Innovative Project Design and Management, Smart and Micro Grid. His hobbies include cricket, chess, and poetry.

N. Ramakrishnan (Ramki): Ramakrishnan is an Entrepreneur & Innovator. He has over three decades of experience in the areas of engineering & enterprise solutions and services in the Asia Pacific Region and has held Senior Management positions with leading multinational companies. Prior to setting up Tacstra Solutions Pte Ltd, he co-founded, Cricket Semiconductor Pvt Ltd and Mandate Chips & Circuits Pvt Ltd, both in the semiconductor field. His extensive experience includes solutions for Digital Transformation, Product Lifecycle Management, Collaborative Product Development & Commerce as well as Supplier Eco-Systems for the Electronics, Hi-Tech, Computing, Consumer & Automotive Industries. He has a good understanding of new & relevant techniques, methodologies & models for Innovation, New Product Development & Introduction (e.g. Co-Creation, Reverse Innovation) & is keen to apply these to emerging and new markets. Ramakrishnan holds a PG in Industrial Management from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore & a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. He was a Core Committee Member for the International Conference on Technology Management (ICTM) organised by IISc, in Bangalore, India, in July 2012. He hosted the Innovation in Karnataka Segment & has also co-authored a report on Fostering Innovation in the State of Karnataka, India.

Mr.Vishal Meshram is Director of VAB Creative Consultants Pte Ltd, Singapore with several years of experience and expertise in IT Leadership, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence. He has been Senior IT Leader and Data enthusiastic with over 23 years of industry experience with large multinational, global teams in the delivery & support of mission critical systems. His has successfully led Mobile, Data warehousing, Business Intelligence, and other IT teams & projects from start to end with hands on Architecture, Design, Development & Support experience. He has excellent understanding and operational experience in the business domain & demonstrated results. He has lead teams of DBAs, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Developers and Agile project management, incident management, and customer relations. He has been conferred several industrial awards. He completed Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from MNNIT, Allahabad, MS (Module): Big Data Engineering for Analytic, NUS, Singapore, and working towards MBA from Deakin University, Australia. He is an Executive Member, Assistant treasurer of IAEC Punggol Vista, Singapore and Leader of Data Distributed User Group (DUG).

ER. Ajai Venappu is Director of VAB Creative Consultants Pte Ltd, Singapore vast experience and expertise in Multimedia, Designing Training Modules, Marketing, Public Relations, and Administration of Educational Conferences and Seminars for various institutes, corporates, NGOs, and International Sports Organisation. He completed B.E. in Production and Industrial Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, UP, India. He has about three decades experience in renowned private and multinational companies, and Entrepreneurship through own organisation. He is certified multimedia specialist with deep interest and passion developing them for educational applications. Mr. Ajai has designed and developed video courses using multimedia and animation software for IMT Ghaziabad, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun. He has carried consultancy services for WHO, USAID, Academic Education Development Society, USA, CARE India, SPEAR India USA and Event Management of IPL World Cup 2012 and 2017.
